The word is both creative and communication from God the father. It’s by the word, that this world was created (Hebrews 11:3). Jesus is the living word.
The written word is the scriptures and we find our spiritual direction from it. The word Jesus spoke to us is spirit and life (John 6:63). It’s by the word we are born-again (1 Peter 1:23). As a BOLD church, what brought us together was no personality but God’s word.
Every human being is spiritually hungry and looking for the truth about life. This is found with us. The word is given preeminence in our activities because it’s core to our livelihood. The word is the only food that can satisfy spiritual hunger.
We test and validate everything spiritually by the scripture. We are living at a time when the word is rare. A lot is being preached on pulpits that look like God’s word yet it’s not the word. We endeavour to restrict our preaching within God’s word.
